Tour Dates

Just a short note so you all know what’s happening on the Tour. There are a couple of hit and giggles against County sides that will allow a little bit of competition between players for spots in the team to be sorted out. Sir Captain says the games should be played for the good of the team not the individual, but if Hollywood Watson and Junior Junior Marsh end up batting together, the chances of JJM being run out are higher that the West Indian dressing room after a thrashing.

Here are the dates. For those back home, note that the opening day of the First Test clashes with the State Of Origin decider. Sorry about you having to miss the footy.

June 25-28: Four-day match v Kent in Canterbury.
July 1-4: Four-day match v Essex in Chelmsford.
July 8-12: 1st Test v England at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
July 16-20: 2nd Test v England at Lord’s, London.

July 23-25: Three-day match v Derbyshire in Derby.
July 29-August 2: 3rd Test v England at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
August 6-10: 4th Test v England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

August 14-16: Three-day match v Northants in Northampton.
August 20-24: 5th Test v England at The Oval, London.
August 27: ODI v Ireland (venue TBC).
Aug 31: T20I v England at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
September 3: 1st ODI v England at Rose Bowl, Southampton (D/N).
September 5: 2nd ODI v England at Lord’s, London.
September 8: 3rd ODI v England at Old Trafford, Manchester (D/N).
September 11: 4th ODI v England at Headingley, Leeds.
September 13: 5th ODI v England at Old Trafford, Manchester
